We put all of our clients health and their individual needs as our top priority.
Although we have clients spanning all age groups,  predominately we support vulnerable adults and those over the age of 65. As we are a business which enables and supports clients stay independent within their own homes, we continue to follow the latest Tier 3 Government guidelines for Nottinghamshire, including their advice on ‘Hands, Face, Space’ when visiting our clients.

For our staff visiting clients homes, our policy is if they display any of the Coronavirus symptoms, or have been in close contact with someone with a diagnosis or symptoms of the virus within the last 14 days, they will stop working immediately, self-isolate and obtain a test. Our clients and their families will be notified immediately and with the results of the test.
We will be continually monitoring the health of both our staff, clients and family members during this period.

If we receive information about our clients or anyone living in their household displaying symptoms of the virus, a test should be requested immediately via the link below.
We will cease visits to the client until their test results are known.

Cororonavirus symptoms are:

Temperature or fever
Dry, continuous cough
Shortness of Breath
Fatigue

We will not take any risks to staff health or that of our clients and we will be continuing with thorough hand-washing techniques with antibacterial handwash and gels, before, during and after home visits and with the use of PPE.

How we can help you

We are a small privately-owned family business based in Nottingham providing individually tailored homecare enabling clients to be as independent as possible in the comfort of their own homes.

We offer a truly personal service which allows a practical and preferable alternative to residential care. We understand that finding the right care and support for yourself or your loved one is hugely important and shouldn’t be rushed into. We believe in building strong relationships with our clients, their family and friends, having this working style ethos enables the client to be in control of their own support.

A client’s independence is always our priority and we feel they should be able to choose what type of support they require, when and how they most need it.
Our small team feel privileged to be able to provide this much needed help at home, whether it’s support for just a couple of hours a week or a visit every day, we can always help.

You might be concerned about whether a support provider such as Caring Hands Community Support will be able to understand and respond to your individual needs and personal preferences, or that people will not respect your home or listen to the way you like things to be done.

We understand all these concerns and we take the time to visit you at home before we start to provide regular personalised care. We will arrange to visit you, your partner and family members where we will listen to all your concerns and answer all your questions before agreeing a plan.
